When I planned our trip to Vasto and Bagni Vittoria, I imagined that my family would spend days touring the area and visiting the country-side and near by sites.

However, once we arrived, we melted into this incredible spot and couldn’t leave (except for dinner in nearby Vasto) for the 6 nights we were there.

As everyone has said, Luigi and Elizabetta are incredibly thoughtful hosts.

The property is gorgeous and constantly attended to and maintained, without feeling fussy at all. The rooms are very simple in a modern, clean, sort of way.

The setting is spectacular, and every moment looking out onto the coastline and water front is like looking at a painting.

The breakfasts are homemade by Elizabetta and absolutely delicious, accompanied by delicious espresso drinks made by Luigi. During our days we relaxed and read in various gorgeous spots on the property — hillside under umbrella’s with gorgeous ocean views or on the various little beach fronts along the coastline.

Each night Luigi set us up with a reservation at a fabulous restaurant in nearby Vasto. For lunches we shopped at the local supermarket and then enjoyed eating outside our room at our table overlooking the sea.

Each room also has a place outdoors to wash clothes and hang them to dry. This is a truly special spot.

If you are looking for a place off the American tourist track — this is certainly it. If you are looking to immerse yourself in a beautiful spot, listen to the sounds of ocean waves, meet wonderful people, you won’t be disappointed with Bagni Vittoria — it is a very rare find!!
